Serviceability is a key aspect for every FFWD wheel produced.  Use of high-quality DT Swiss components make service and repair straightforward.  We recommend contacting your local bike shop for general service and repairs or mobile North American service operators such as VeloFix.

We only recommend purchasing FFWD Wheels products through this website or our US authorized dealer network in order to ensure authenticity, industry-leading customer service and additional after-sales service and support.  If you do not have an authorized dealer in your area, feel free to contact us.

As an added value to customers who purchase their FFWD Wheels directly through ffwdusa.com or a US authorized dealer we now offer an extended lifetime warranty as outlined below in addition to the standard factory international warranty.

Limited Lifetime Policy
Radial Sports LLC dba FFWD Wheels USA warrants above referenced FFWD Wheels carbon model rims to be free from manufacturing defects for the lifetime of the product when purchased directly through ffwdusa.com or a US authorized dealer. This extended warranty is in addition to the factory warranty and only applies to the original owner.  The extended warranty is not transferable and begins on date of purchase.

Replacement spokes and nipples are covered as part of the extended warranty for a period of 1 year (12 months) from date of original purchase.  Any applicable factory labor and return shipping to the customer will also be included if a factory rebuild is required for the same 1 year (12 month) period.

Warranty Limitation
The warranty covers exclusively manufacturing defects of FFWD Wheels carbon rims and excludes, notably, from its scope of application any damage, prejudice and, more generally, any direct or indirect consequence which would result from bad use or failure to respect user instructions, the lack of maintenance or a non-conforming use of the product.

Radial Sports LLC dba FFWD Wheels USA will not be responsible for any damage (including, but not limited to, property damage and bodily injury) that might result from use of standard clincher and tubeless clincher tires or tubeless setups that may fail and/or not be compatible with a FFWD Wheels ETRTO rim.

The limited lifetime warranty does not cover parts listed below that are subject to normal wear and tear, shipping damage, storage damage, improper installation, misuse, or crashes.  For crash replacement information visit this link.

Wear and tear parts are subject to damage as a result of normal use and riding in conditions/usage for applications other than recommended.

Wear and tear parts are identified as:

• Disc Rotors
• Hubs
• Hub rotor/driver body
• Hub parts – bearings, axles, pawls, ratchets, springs, end caps
• Spokes
• Nipples

Claim requests under this extended warranty must be made directly through our customer service team by completing the request form below. Proof of purchase is required.

Purchases made outside of the USA do not carry a valid USA warranty and are not eligible for service, support or CRP from FFWD Wheels USA. In this case please contact FFWD Wheels at info@ffwd.com or the regional FFWD distributor in your country for service and warranty support.

Main policy
FFWD Wheels warrants its products to be free from manufacturing defects for a period of two (2) years after original date of purchase from an authorized source.  An additional one (1) year of warranty for total of three (3) years is applied to wheel purchases that are registered. This warranty only applies to the original owner and is not transferable.

Warranty Limitation
The FFWD Wheels warranty covers exclusively the manufacturing defects of its products and excludes, notably, from its scope of application any damage, prejudice and, more generally, any direct or indirect consequence which would result from bad use or failure to respect user instructions, the lack of maintenance or a non-conforming use of the product.

FFWD Wheels manufactures its rims to conform to ETRTO (European Tire and Rim Technical Organization) standards and all rims must meet FFWD Wheels high-quality internal and industry standards.  However, due to variability in tire types and tolerances, FFWD Wheels cannot warrant the fit, compatibility, durability or suitability of any specific tire brand or tire model.

FFWD Wheels or it’s agents will not be responsible for any damage (including, but not limited to, property damage and bodily injury) that might result from use of tubular, standard clincher and tubeless clincher tires or tubeless setups that may fail and/or not be compatible with a FFWD Wheels rim.

The FFWD Wheels warranty does not cover parts that are subject to normal wear and tear, shipping damage, storage damage, improper installation, misuse, or crashes.  Wear and tear parts are subject to damage as a result of normal use and riding in conditions/usage for applications other than recommended.

• Brake pads
• Disc Rotors
• Brake surface of rims
• Hubs
• Hub rotor/driver body
• Hub internal parts – bearings, axles, pawls, ratchets, springs
• Spokes
• Nipples

IMPORTANT:
Always use FFWD Wheels supplied carbon brake pads when using full carbon clincher or tubular rim brake wheels.  Use of any other non-approved brake pads will immediately void the warranty.
