OVERVIEW
Elevate Your Triathlon Ride to the Next Level with the new RAW77!
Want to turn heads while leaving the competition behind? The combination of carbon bladed spokes and 77mm deep carbon rims delivers you light system weight and perfect stiffness which combines aerodynamics and power into speed.
Lighter rims, carbon spokes and CeramicSpeed bearings inside our superb hubs and a stunning slick finish in matt or gloss. RAW is synonymous for performance, maximum efficiency and exclusivity.
The RAW77 features FFWD’s proven LAW Tech aerodynamic profile. LAW is short for ‘Laminar Airflow Wing’ and has been specifically developed to deliver better aerodynamics when using wider tire widths up to 42mm by creating a smooth airflow over the rim and tire interface.
The RAW77 is a 700c hooked tubeless ready carbon clincher rim with a 23mm internal width, 77mm depth and 31mm external width. Compatible with standard clincher (tubes) and tubeless clincher setups.
Testing multiple layups and setups have led to the optimum combination of stiffness, aerodynamics and weight.
Aerodynamic, Stiff and Lightweight
The combination of carbon bladed spokes, FFWD’s new hub design and 77mm deep carbon rims delivers the perfect stiffness and translates power into speed. Superb stiffness for your best sprint efforts all at a set weight of 1670 grams.
FFWD Hub with CeramicSpeed Inside
Carbon spokes require a special hub design. This level of wheel demands ceramic bearings. For our custom designed hubs FFWD partnered with CeramicSpeed.
The RAW is built with a newly developed and lighter weight FFWD ratchet hub with CeramicSpeed bearings. Straight pull spokes, center-lock rotor interface, 12mm thru axle hubs (12/100mm, 12/142mm) featuring a 36 tooth ratchet system offering 10 degrees of engagement for quick and crisp shifting and a 17% increase in stiffness.
Components include carbon aero-bladed spokes and Hex 5.5mm internal nipples.
The RAW77 is available in matte or gloss black and with Shimano/SRAM 10-12 speed, SRAM XDR and Campagnolo 11-12 speed freehub options.
